Message from the Mayor

Welcome!

We are a town of 1,140 family, friends, neighbors and caring businesses.   Our 35 businesses, mostly agriculturally driven, employ over 550 people and provide necessary services all the while, looking over their customers.

Volunteerism and service are at the core of our community.  Our citizens tirelessly volunteer for our many organizations, boards, and civic organizations withing our community.

As a community, we are good friends and neighbors.  We celebrate during good times and pull together, tirelessly, dependably during the hard ones.  We are everyone’s hometown.

Please enjoy your visit.  Consider making Hamburg Iowa your hometown, its a great place to live and do business!
